WHO ARE WE?
An organization with the intention of improving our own wines, along with wine in the Mid West. We have very generous sponsors that enable the group to continue in its endeavor to improve wine quality.

WHAT WE DO.
This is an industry-driven initiative to provide an opportunity for producers to share information in a closed and formal, blind, tasting environment with other winemakers from around the state of Missouri and the Mid West. These events are open to commercial winemaking and cellar staff only. The Grape and Wine Conference Workshop which we hope will become an annual event is open to all conference attendees. Wines for assessment and discussion are to be either unfinished wines, or experimental wines. Or bottled if necessary.

We encourage all wineries from around the state and the mid west, which produce wine to attend the workshops. Previous workshops brought forth constructive dialogue and created the impetus to produce ever greater quality wines from specific varietals. This is a great opportunity to evaluate other wines and get diverse opinions about viticultural and vinification practices.
With these workshops we can all benefit, improving the quality of Missouri and Mid West wines.

EXPECT TO LEARN.
We taste all the wines blind and have an open and honest format, focused on education and constructive advice or question. One can expect to leave every workshop knowing more than when they arrived and hopefully we can improve overall quality.
